Today, Myself and Leon finally found the busker after searching for him for over a week! We were soon very disappointed to learn that he no longer wanted to be a part of the film. His reasoning was because Facebook pages, Twitter accounts and Youtube videos of him had been posted online and he wasn't happy about it. He didn't want anyone making money off him. This obviously annoyed me as we had previously gained his permission twice, and relied upon him so much. The fact that people had made Facebook pages for him made me even more annoyed that we could not use him as a contributor, because this obviously means that he is popular and people recognise and remember him.
I have said all along that I did not believe him to be a reliable participant, and was ready to be dissapointed. However, this has left us with such little time to complete the exercise. We now need to find another busker at short notice, and I do not think that it will have at all the same atmosphere or emotion as the intended film.
