Because our original contributor to the documentaries being unavailable, Myself and Leon have decided to change our idea completely. This is quite risky as it has meant that we have needed to find a new contributor at late notice, which we have successfully managed to do. We have chosen to alter the concept to being about a tattoo studio named 'Follow Your Dreams' which is situated in The Forum, a space designated for independent shops and a cafe/bar:
Below is a copy of the brief notes I made after a meeting with Leon about our new plan:
When we went into the studio to ask if we were ok to film a documentary in/about the studio, they seemed happy and excited to let us do so. I am happy that we have a solid contributor this time. As well as this, we will be filming indoors which means we will not have to rely upon the weather. Because it is a tattoo studio, the lighting will be good, meaning that we shouldn't have a problem with settings on the camera. I am looking forward to starting filming, however because they are re-decorating over the next couple of weeks, this means that we are unable to begin filming until after the easter holidays. Although this is not ideal, it means that we have a lot of time to plan.
